State of emergency declared in the city of Atbara (Sudan) after price protests

According to local media a state of emergency was declared in the city of Atbara, Sudan, after hundreds of citizens started a huge protest against price increases on Dec. 19th. Authorities have declared a curfew from 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
